North Tyler Veterinary Clinic is a family business that started in 1977. Dr. Michael N. Williams built and opened the practice in order to provide quality service at an affordable price to the pets and livestock of East Texas. Through the years, the business has grown to a 3 doctor practice that continues to specialize in quality care. Dr. Zach Williams bought NTVC from his father in January 2023 and looks forward to continuing the legacy.
We are a mixed practice which means we see all types of animals. This includes: Cats, Dogs, Sheep, Pigs, Cattle and Horses. We put special attention and care into each of our clients and do our best to ensure that both the animals and owners know that they are important to us. Animal health and well being is something that we will always put as the priority.
We are a first come first serve clinic. This means that no appointment is necessary to see our doctors. We take our first client at 8am and continue to take exams until 4:30pm and shots until 5pm. Since we do not take appointments, we never know how long or short the wait may be BUT we can assure you that the service is worth the wait. Also, by not taking appointments, we are able to keep our prices lower than most of our competitors because we are not limiting the amount of animals that we can see each day.
While we are first come, first serve, we do take appointments for surgeries. We do this to make sure that we have sufficient time to properly care for and facilitate each surgery. We do perform a multitude of surgeries on site, if you are curious, just ask.
If you are looking for a clinic that treats you and your animals like family, then a family owned practice is the place to go.
